Very High-Speed Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL):

Very high-speed digital subscriber line (VDSL) is a digital subscriber line DSL technologies providing data transmission faster than Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) over “short-distance” copper phone lines with speeds up to 50Mbps.

By installing the network Active Cabinet and connecting it back to the Central Office over Fiber Optic cable, will shorten the copper part of the phone line to distance ranging between 100 to 400 meters, allowing your VDSL modem to deliver very high speed.

With VDSL, you can enjoy a fast Internet allowing everyone at home to download files and games updates in very little time, watch online videos and movies, stream music, play your popular online games, connect and chat with family and friends while seeing them, send and receive emails and browse the internet, all at the same time.

Setup Fee / One Time Fee

* VDSL Line Cost: 180,000 LBP + VAt
* WiFi Router Modem: $25
* Extra Filter: $1 each
* Optional installation by Libatech: $20 (within greater Beirut area)

Important Information

(a) For any cancellation of existing services, kindly contact Libatech customer care (a signed cancellation form should be submitted), Libatech cannot process any cancellation without receiving a properly filled cancellation form.

(b) Libatech or third party is not responsible for any internal or external wiring work inside or outside the building.

(c) A prorated fee will be charged only for the first month of service depending on the service activation date with a minimum charge of 200,000 LBP

(d) If you wish to cancel your VDSL Service, a cancellation fee of 150 000 LBP + VAT will apply. All Libatech VDSL services and accounts must be paid in full before cancellation is complete. The cancellation request form should be submitted to Libatech’s offices no later than the 20th of every month.

(e) if the account is canceled due to non-payment of monthly fees or any other reasons, you will have to pay an additional 180 000 LBP + VAT re-connection fee to re-activate your account. Re-connection delays may apply.

(f) The billing cycle commences 5 days after notifying the customer that his phone line is ready for the VDSL connection.

(g) All plans are treated under the fair usage policy.

(h) It’s important to know: the more speed you can get is affected by your distance from the central office and the quality of your copper line.

(i) A 100,000 LBP collection charge applies on monthly payments made by delivery or 10,000 LBP made by Western Union option – OMT

Over-Consumption Details

(1) If you exceed the indicated CAP (GB) of your plan, you will be charged an over consumption fee at a rate of 30,000 + VAT per extra GB Usage. Note that the indicated cap (GB) of your plan is the sum of upload and download volume.
(2) An optional pack is required for each additional telephone socket at your premises. Every telephone handset should have a splitter connected to it in order to avoid noise and interference.
